Hoy es Marketing 2011 comes to Barcelona

The annual “Hoy es Marketing” [Marketing Today] event hits Barcelona tomorrow, 25 May. The conference has already taken place in Madrid, Valencia, Bilbao, Pamplona, Sevilla and will finish in Zaragoza on 31 May.

The event is hosted by ESIC Business & Marketing school and is quite heavy on promotion of their programs. That said, many of the sessions provide useful insight into various aspects of Marketing. This year the theme is “Ideas that are changing the World” and, as to be expected, there is a focus on social media and the evolving consumer.

I will be tweeting with the hashtags #hoyesmarketing #barcelona, given that I have network coverage or the venue has open wifi access (not likely). I will post a synopsis and evaluation of the sessions shortly after.
